Heath and Jenn Hill met in the 6th grade and have been best friends ever since! They say you’re supposed to marry your best friend, and that’s exactly what they did. Married now for 24 years, they’ve experienced raising two boys, 1 dog and 1 BIG DREAM! Heath and Jenn started their own Experiential Marketing company 18 years ago with nothing but a truck and a crazy idea. Lime Media is based in their hometown of Rockwall, TX and has blessed their lives immensely. Jenn made the very hard decision to quit teaching when her oldest son, Hayes, turned 3, and for the last 20 years, she’s been a mom and wife more than anything else! With 2 grown boys, it was time to get back out there, but doing WHAT?!? Jenn has always had a heart for hospitality and a love for decorating everything from people to walls. So, having a fun Fixer-Upper/Airbnb project sounded like the greatest thing EVER. Little did they know, they would end up with 11 houses in the sweetest little town in the heart of Wine Country! Heath had a friend suggest he take a look at a 1-acre lot with 3 sheds and a house that needed updating in Fredericksburg a few years ago. Heath, being the business brains of the operation, loved hearing over 71,000 people visit Fredericksburg every year. So, with some paint brushes, hammer, nails and a big imagination, they turned that 1-acre lot into Poplar Place! Over the last 2 years Poplar Place has hosted over 500 guests and counting. Jenn plans to add a boutique/coffee shop by the end of 2023, selling their signature scented candles, coffee cups, wine, wine glasses and more.
